2007 Summer Positions

Museum Visitor Services Location: The Nature Museum at Grafton, Grafton, VT
Dates: June 23 – August 26, 10 Weekends
Days & Times: Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM – 4 PM
Compensation: $8/Hour

Act as the official museum visitor host this summer and engage Nature Museum visitors in a wide variety of exhibits and activities.

The main responsibilities for this position include:

• opening and closing the museum
• interpreting museum displays
• engaging visitors to interact with Museum exhibits
• selling items in the gift shop
• assisting staff with various museum tasks

Position Qualifications: We are looking for someone who is engaging and is comfortable working with the general public. An interest in natural history and organization skills are important.
