Weekend events will be launched Friday with a festive gala named--what else?--the Big Bang! The evening's star will be keynote speaker Jeffrey Hollender, founder of Seventh Generation, a pioneering socially responsible corporation based in Burlington, Vermont. He will speak about "The Responsibility Revolution" and his newly published book of the same name.
The historic and beautiful Riverledge Farm will be the setting for the Big Bang. Just two miles from the center of Grafton and surrounded by fields and forests, the stunning, recently restored historic barn hosting the event is an attraction all on its own.
Following the program there will be a live auction featuring a handful of unique packages and experiences. Guests will also be treated to a tour of music from around the world by Miamon Miller and Trei Arcusi, a story by Annie Hawkins, an open bar, and an array of fine desserts and cheeses.
Tickets are now available and discounted for members at $40 (non-member $45), numbers are limited, and reservations are required, so those interested in attending are urged to call the Museum at (802) 843-2111 and purchase early either at the Museum or at the Grafton Grocery Market, Misty Valley Books in Chester, or Village Square Booksellers in Bellows Falls.
