Programs for Kids & Families > Little Kids
Little Kids | ages 5 and under
For our smallest naturalists, we offer creative, open-ended, exploratory programs for children aged 3 to 5 and their caregivers. Our goal: to foster an early love of the natural world and an eagerness to have fun outside!
Mighty Acorns Explorer Club
Held from September to May on the third Thursday of each month, Mighty Acorns invite young adventurers to explore the natural world through interactive games, puzzles, and activities. This program is held at The Nature Museum and most sessions involve exploring our backyard and the nearby woods, fields and pond. We hope you and your little one can join us in the fall!
Mighty Acorns will meet the follow days this fall, winter, and spring; please note, there is no session in December.

Summer Thursdays are Discovery Days at The Nature Museum! Join us for these weekly summer camp programs as we explore the forests, fields, ponds and streams of Grafton. Through engaging hands-on games and explorations, each week we will discover a new aspect of the natural world. This camp is designed to be flexible, to suit your busy summer schedule. You can join us for a one time or become a full-fledged Nature Museum Junior Naturalist and attend every week.
This program is attended by 5-8 year olds who are dropped off often by their caregivers, but we invite 3- and 4-year olds to attend if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adults attend for free.
Check back in the Spring of 2017 for these dates; or better yet—sign up for our newsletter so that you'll be kept in the know!
