School and Library Programs

The Nature museum offers over 25 educational programs for schools and libraries. Most of these programs can be at your school or library or at the Museum. Our programs can be scheduled throughout the year. We pride ourselves in our age-appropriate, interactive, high quality programs.

Program group sizes

  • Early education programs are designed for groups of 15 children or less.
  • Elementary & Middle School programs are designed for groups of 25 students or less. Special arrangements can be made to accommodate larger groups.

Open to the public since 1989, the Museum has two floors and provides interactive exhibits and several major dioramas on the region’s plants, animals, and geology. Venturing outside, the Museum maintains hiking trails in the Village Park, and a wildlife garden offers a peaceful and educational space behind the Museum for groups to enjoy.

Beyond our exhibits, the Museum utilizes the vast resources around Grafton. Many of our programs lead us outdoors, whether we are exploring a pond, the forest habitat, or checking out a beaver meadow.

Viewing of Exhibits for Groups

In addition to our regular hours of operation, the museum is open for groups at any time by appointment. We offer self guiding visits or special guided explorations of our exhibits.
