About the Museum

Open to the public since 1989, the Museum has two floors and provides interactive exhibits and several major dioramas on the region's plants, animals, and geology. Outside, the Museum maintains hiking trails in the Village Park, and a wildlife garden that offers a peaceful and educational space behind the Museum for groups to enjoy. The Museum also offers many public programs and camps.

In addition to its exhibits and collections, the Museum utilizes the vast resources around Grafton. Many of our programs lead us outdoors, whether we are exploring a pond, the forest habitat, or checking out a beaver wetland.

Viewing of Exhibits for Groups

In addition to our regular hours of operation, the museum is open for groups at any time by appointment. We offer self-guided visits or special guided explorations of our exhibits.
