The Nature Museum offers workshops to alumni of our summer institutes and to educators around the region. For more information please contact The Nature Museum at 802-843-2111 or e-mail staff@nature-museum.org to find out more about the following workshops.

On Saturday, April 12th, The Museum will be offering a Bookbinding Workshop for Educators from 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM. The fee for the workshop and materials is $65 and pre-registration is required. The workshop is located at Thetford Academy in Thetford, VT. Susan Bonthron of Otter Pond Bindery (otterpondbindery.com) will lead this workshop. She has spent many years working with teachers to integrate book arts into curriculum. During this workshop we will build two books that could be recreated with a group of classroom students. The first book is an accordion style book about habitats and the second is a book pertaining to clouds and cloud identification.

In May we will be offering a workshop about making Moon Journals and Sun Journals with your students.

In the Fall we will be offering a day-long workshop for teachers pertaining to Beavers, Beaver Pond Ecology, and the Ecological History of Beavers.
