In Bellows Falls: Who Is Swimming in the Water?

  • Rockingham Free Central Library 65 Westminster Street Bellows Falls, VT, 05101 United States (map)

Do fish lay eggs?  Can a fish live both in the ocean and in a river?  Come to this program and learn about the Connecticut River and its tributaries, which are home to many species of fish. Hear all about the river’s native aquatic wildlife that call these waterways home. Along with fabulous fish facts, attendees will make a creative craft!

Who Is Swimming in the Water?” is a part of a series of special summer programming that we are offering on Fridays at the Rockingham Library in Bellows Falls. These programs were previously to be held at the Bellows Falls Visitor Center but the center has had to temporarily close.. These free drop-in sessions are led by Jay DeGregorio, one of our Environmental Educators. This program is made possible with the generous support of Great River Hydro, owners of the hydroelectric plant in Bellows Falls on the Connecticut River.
