Mighty Acorns: The Secret World of the Pond

Date: Thursday, June 15, 2016
Time: 10:00am-11:30am
Ages: 3 to 5 years old + caregiver
Cost: $5 per child, caregiver free
Location: Nature Museum at Grafton

A trip to explore the pond is one of our favorite activities here at The Nature Museum. We never know what we will find? A dragonfly nymph or maybe a bullfrog or two? The watery world of ponds bursts with cool critters.

After learning a little bit about ponds and the creatures that call it home, the Mighty Acorns will each grab a pond net and head outside to discover just how packed with life our local pond is.

This preschool club meets inside the museum here in Grafton and explores the outdoors on a variety of adventures to field, forest and pond throughout the 90-minute hands-on program. Children should be dressed for spending some of this time outside.

Drops-ins are welcome! Preregistration is encouraged but is not required. We hope you will join us this Thursday!
