Wild Winter Eyes: A Guided Wildlife Tracking Exploration

On Saturday, January 25th join us and Chris Bernier, a Wildlife Biologist with the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife, for a unique outdoor exploration in Andover, Vermont. Bernier, who will be accompanied by Jay DeGregorio, Senior Environmental Educator at The Nature Museum, will lead a 3-hour nature immersion for a small group of participants. This trek will lead us through the snowy landscape where we will discuss habitat types, animal tracking/camera trapping tips and tricks, forest management, and land conservation.

The group will pass through terrain that is intimately familiar to Bernier while discovering this winter world. Participants should expect an overall moderate hike with some uphill sections that will be more strenuous. Snowshoes and winter gear are required. If you would like to borrow a pair of snowshoes, please indicate this on your registration form (How many pairs? What is/are your shoe size(s)?)

Pre-registration is required and the meeting spot, which is on private land in Andover, Vermont will be sent to all registrants. The cost is $20
