Come along on a nature walk with your canine companion!

Saturday, November 8th 12:00PM - 1:30PM

at Mollie Beattie State Forest

Registration required, by-donation on a sliding scale

Join our experienced Environmental Educator on “Dog Walk with a Naturalist” to celebrate how we can enjoy the natural world with our furry friends -- lead by their curiosity, excitement and of course their noses! Walking with a dog can be tiresome if we're too focused on the destination and especially how fast we make it there. Instead, we aim to learn lessons from them about slowing down to investigate, embracing the excitement of new discoveries, and connecting with the world around us. Dog lovers without a dog of their own are also welcome to participate!

Notice:

All participating dogs must be well-behaved, get along well with other dogs and people, and remain on leash under their owner’s control at all times. We recommend keeping your dog on a non-retractable leash no longer than 6ft for their safety in this group setting.
