Creative Connections Session 5: Communities in the Landscape
Find more-than-human relationships in the landscape
Hosted by Stephanie Sullivan and Ellen Goldstein at The Nature Museum
Second Sunday of each month from 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Sessions are free with suggested donation of $5 - $10
Join us for a Sunday afternoon of writing and making art together in nature! Each Sunday has a theme to deepen our connections with nature and each other. We’ll meet at the Danforth Pavilion for a short intro. Then we will explore The Nature Museum’s meadow, trails, garden, and woods to sketch, write, draw, and/or journal with the day’s prompts in mind. After an hour, we will come back together for a brief break and discussion. Then the group can continue their individual work or stay to talk and connect for the second hour.
Participants are free to attend any or all sessions as they like, no registration is required. Sessions are free, with a suggested donation of $5 - $10 to The Nature Museum.
Adults and teens of all skill levels are welcome. Bring your own notebook and/or sketchbook. Limited paper and supplies will be available as well. Please dress for the weather and to explore the Museum, Chapman Meadow, and trails.
