Join us for Nature at Night with The Caterpillar Lab
Friday June 13th from 7:30PM - 11:00PM
The Nature Museum at Grafton
Sliding-Scale Registration Required
Join The Caterpillar Lab to discover the amazing world of caterpillars and moths! There will be a live caterpillar viewing with Educators from The Caterpillar Lab for folks to observe these magnificent creatures up close and ask questions. This will be followed by a nighttime "mothing" program, where we’ll learn all about moths and the process of attracting them, and then engage in the process of attracting moths! This will be a one of a kind opportunity for hands-on moth ID and species inventorying.
This program will happen rain or shine! But, if there’s hazardous or horrendous weather, there will be a make up date on the evening of Sunday, June 16th.
Presenter Bio: The Caterpillar Lab fosters greater appreciation and care for the complexity and beauty of our local natural history through live caterpillar educational programs, research initiatives, and photography and film projects. They believe that an increased awareness of one’s local environment is the foundation on which healthy and responsible attitudes towards the broader natural systems of this world is built.
