Covid-19 Policy

Updated June 2022

The Nature Museum’s Covid-19 protocols follow guidance from the CDC, based on community-level data.  These policies are subject to change as conditions evolve.  If we are working with community partners or other venues, their policies might also apply.

For all Visitors and Program & Event Attendees:

“Low” and “Medium” Covid-19 Community Levels

  • Masking: Optional both indoors and outdoors

  • If you feel sick, stay home.  Visit us another day!

  • Our staff are vaccinated and may choose to wear masks at any time

“High” Covid-19 Community Levels

  • Masking: Required indoors, and optional outdoors

  • If you feel sick, stay home.  Visit us another day!

For Camp Participants:

Vaccination: We strongly encourage all camp participants who are eligible to receive their Covid-19 vaccination.  While not required, vaccination is our best tool to keep our community healthy.

Health Screening: Our staff will conduct a health screening at check-in each day regarding symptoms and possible exposures.  If your camper is feeling sick, please DO NOT arrive at camp – call our staff to update.

Masks:  Will be optional outdoors.  Indoor masking will be required in case of “High” Covid-19 Community Levels or local conditions determined by staff.  The majority of our camps are outdoors.

Hygiene:  Hygiene is important!  We will encourage the use of hand washing and hand sanitizing frequently throughout the day.

We have created these guidelines with information from the Vermont Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
