Spring break is for getting outside!

For many local kids, the highlight of mud season is—spring break!

Looking for some ideas for connecting with nature with your kids during spring break and the milder months ahead? What about establishing a "green hour" in your household devoted to being outside? Definitely an easier task as our daylight hours steadily lengthen.

But why settle for an hour when your child can have a Green Day (or two!) with the Nature Museum over spring break!

Getting outside, literally stretching our legs, and breathing in that fresh air; that's the kind of unwinding we specialize in. Here at The Nature Museum we are thrilled to be welcoming both little and big kids to our Mighty Acorns and Brave Bears programs; each will run on both April 20th and April 21st.

The Nature Museum will guide campers in developing a deeper understanding of the natural world and avoiding Nature Deficit Disorder. Wonder is our goal!

For kids ages 6 to 9 years old, our Brave Bears program is a full-day affair from 9:30a.m.-3:00p.m. devoted to seeking out adventure. Children are welcome to attend on either April 20th or April 21st or both days. Advanced registration is encouraged; this program typically fills early. Reserve your child's spot by April 10th to save $5!

For our littlest naturalists ages 3 to 5 years, we are excited to offer our Mighty Acorns program on both April 20th and April 21st from 10a.m.-11:30p.m. We'll be exploring the awe-inducing world of baby animals and the places they call home.

Both programs are quickly filling so grab your spot today!
