Join Rachel Brown, our Nature Educator at the Bellows Falls Fish Ladder Visitors Center, for an all ages presentation and hands-on educational experience about the way of life of the Abenaki, a Native American tribe that called Vermont and other parts of the Northeast home, at the Springfield Town Library. Drop-ins welcome; no pre-registration required.

The Nature Museum will present 9 free environmental education programs held throughout the summer months at public libraries in the Southern Vermont Connecticut River Valley.  This summer library program series is sponsored by TransCanada, operator of the hydroelectric power plant in Bellows Falls, VT.

Each program will offer children and adults alike a wonderful natural science educational experience through discussion, hands-on objects, and a craft about critters and creatures.

The Nature Museum creates experiences that engage and enlighten our audiences and inspire stewardship of the natural world. Unplug this summer and follow The Nature Museum to a local library near you!
