Native Pollinator Garden Volunteer Planting Day

  • The Nature Museum 186 Townshend Road Grafton, VT, 05146 United States (map)

Contribute To The Transformation of Our Re-Designed Native Pollinator Garden

Saturday, May 2nd at The Nature Museum

Drop-in from 10am - 2pm

Registration is requested, light refreshments provided

We’re excited to fill our newly designed museum garden with all kinds of thoughtfully selected plants, trees, and shrubs. Come enjoy this hands-on opportunity to learn about native plant gardening and help transform the space with locally & regionally sourced plants.

The thoughtful re-design of our garden will benefit plants, wildlife, and people in ways that can inspire changes in your own backyard and community. Help us integrate the new inhabitants of this land that will be enjoyed by people and pollinators alike for years to come!

What to Know:

Registration is encouraged, as we will provide volunteers with refreshments, but not required.

The Nature Museum will provide gloves and tools, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own. No experience is needed!

This represents a great opportunity to earn community service hours and learn about native plant gardening. Whether you can come for an hour or all four, your contribution will make a lasting impact and we welcome you to join us.

Our plants will be happy to get into the ground rain or shine, so dress for the weather and work!

Contact Jay DeGregorio at jay@nature-museum.orgor try giving us a call at 802-843-2111 with any questions.

Can’t make it this time? Join us at our next Planting Day on Saturday, May 30th.
